"Better Late Than Never Is Not Always True."

Do you find that you have been having more trouble picking up that sock off the floor, getting out of bed, or even walking around the grocery store? Are you thinking, “Oh, this is just because I’m getting old?” Well, “getting old” may not be the answer to your symptoms. From your head, to your shoulders and even your knees and your toes, physical therapy may be just what you need to start to feel young again! Physical therapy uses both active exercise and manual techniques to decrease pain and regain movement. It also includes patient education on preventing compensation and avoiding future injuries. The real question is when should you start physical therapy? Let’s just say, the sooner the better. It has been proven that results have been more successful when symptoms are treated early on. So, the next time you think, “Oh man, I’m getting old,” just ask yourself, is this the right time for physical therapy?
