Happy New Year 2014

This year’s resolution is to not make resolutions. I’m done with the concept.  It never worked and at this point in my life I guess it isn’t worth putting any energy into something I probably won’t complete.  No diets, no exercise plans- NO WAY!  Instead I think I’ll just check every forkful of food each time I eat.  I’ll get off my duff and stretch each day instead of planning to go to the gym.  I’ll drink plenty of water (half  my body weight in ounces every day ). Most of all I’ll check my thoughts, all of my thoughts and make them positive before they leave my mouth.  I will quit speaking words of defeat and only speak positive and encouraging words.  I won’t use my words to explain my situation, I will use them to change my situation because after sixty plus years I finally figured out my words and my daily actions are the only real way to stay on track.  Join me, so we can have a Healthy and Happy New Year.
